Keep Your Chin Up

I love quotes, and the following three recently found their way to me during a time of grief and healing.  It amazes me how the Universe communicates with each of us all the time; we just need to be listening for the messages.  I've posted these quotes on the desktop of my computer, under the file name Keep Your Chin Up.  I've also printed them out and pasted them in my datebook, so I can read them often and absorb their messages.  They've given me some peace of mind, and my hope is that they will provide you with the same.

This first quote found it's way to me via a friend's Facebook post.  (Thanks Val.  I felt like you posted this just for me.)
With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift.  Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing.  You get to choose....everything that is happening is supposed to be happening.

This next quote was pasted (of all places!) on the wall of the ladies room at a restaurant.
Sometimes in order to move forward, you need to let go.

And this final quote was written in a book of quotes I've been keeping.
Happiness grows in direct proportion to your acceptance.

Please send me quotes that have helped you during difficult times.  Your post might be the words that someone needs to hear, right at that very moment.

  1. Kathianne, I'm just catching up on my blog reading, and today, these were the words that I needed to hear. So, thank you, because they have found me and nourished me today :)
